Dear my WR Savoy Trousers,

Your pockets are sexy, you make my butt look quite perky, but why... Why are you so flared? Why are you so low rised that when I sit down I fear that my butt crack will show (even when you are indicated to be regular rise)? How in the world did the belt loop rip after I washed you? Shame on you. I boycotted hautelook after I received you... UPS robbed me of my money - 50 dollars for customs and duty fees when the pair of jeans were worth $100 alone. I will never again ship by UPS from the States again, I have definitely learned my lesson (especially after that RTC debacle). Also, I have mad love for WR - but this will not do.

I love WR because I can lounge around work and it isn't uncomfortable to sit in... Good thing too, after waking up every two hours last night, I feel like I've got a hangover. It's sad being such a cheap drunk and worst of all, any alcohol in my system keeps me awake. I'm still traumatized after spending 3 hours not being able to fall asleep. The alcohol made me giggle, toss and turn, and kept my eyes wide open. Finally at the crack of dawn (around 5 am - ish), I drifted off into sleep land... Only to wake up 3 hours later and head to work.

So hopefuly, I make it through this day in one piece...

Michael Buble brightens up my day.

If you haven't heard Michael Buble sing, you must. Give him a chance, he may or may not be your cup of tea. But whoa, who wouldn't swoon over the man's voice? Dead sexy. Not to mention, the music is simply happiness in the form of an audio file. I'll be putting his 13 albums on repeat for the next couple of weeks. I haven't been to a concert in my life (lame, I know), but I think Michael Buble live would be an awesome start.

So with Michael Buble singing in the background, I guess I better get going on the UCAS website. It's been so long since I've touched anything HTML related. The coding, the Adobe photoshop frenzy and the frustrating antics that arise when I can't get the code quite right - it's like a long lost best friend that I've just found again. It brings back the days where I would spend at least 5-6 hours making the layout alone and another couple of hours putting the layout and content together. Which brings me to this blog, when I have absolutely nothing to do one day, I'm going to tackle the HTML and format it to my own taste.

Got my nudies yesterday, omfg, heaven. I can't wait to break them in and start the process. I'm totally going to keep a dry denim diary. I love that you're not supposed to wash your pair of nudies for at least 6 months or 50-60 wears. Scary how I needed to size up TWICE in these. Stupid thunder thighs.

I need to start taking pictures to get the ball rolling. sigh

On a side note, I finally got around to watching the second Transformers movie. I didn't think it was that bad, like everyone's reviews. I thought it was an orgasm of action scenes - so many things were going on... The decepticons and autobots battle scenes were so hard to follow because it all just started to mash together. The scene where Sam and Mikala were trying to reach Optimus Prime? Yea, that took way too long, it was at least 30 minutes of running and avoiding bombs. I really needed to pee. But really, not bad.

Michael Buble, please take me away :)

Crash and not so much burning

Beyond the Rack started their clearance sale yesterday and I just couldn't resist. I nabbed a pair of sunglasses. The only things that went through my mind were: shipping was decent, customs wouldn't bone me, they were a great discount, and.. they weren't clothing related?!

You see, I've had this bet going on with a friend, I wasn't allowed to buy anything clothing related for the next two months. Oh the blasphemy! Obviously, sunglasses are clothing related. Obviously, I lost my bet. About time. I'm not too upset about losing the bet because now all the pressure and torture comes off and I can look at sales as a sane person. It might be a good thing! I just stepped away from watches and jeans - I don't really need it, right? On top of that, the server is going whack and everything is crazy slow. It drove me nuts so I just gave up. I applaud you, Beyond the Rack, for not having such a crappy reserve/hold cart system. Unlike Hautelook, yours actually works.

On a side note: Crazy sale on RTC, FML.

Because sitting in an empty office is the best way to spend a Sunday night...

I’ve had this account sitting here for quite awhile now... It’s a habit of mine – to sign up on various websites and never touch them or I’ll log on when I’m intensely bored. I’m going to make an effort on this blog and try to post regularly instead leaving it all behind after this entry is completed. So, why now? Well, I’m stuck at the office on a lonely Sunday night and the only interaction I’m going to have for the next few hours is with random people on the other end of the phone line. It’s quite sad that I’ve started to recognize names and voices of individuals that don’t even work out of this office. As well, there’s a lovely puddle in the kitchen area since SOMEONE thinks the definition of “clean” and “acceptable” is water all over the countertop and the floor... On the bright side, the HTML crunching for the site is nearly complete – I’m not that rusty after all! And it’s not too bad when I can bring my own laptop to do whatever.

I just HAD to rant – but really, blogging is a fun thing to start, yes? I’ll just start nice and slow till I get a handle of things. The words just don’t flow as easily as they used to.

Allow me to introduce myself - I’m Myrna and I am a shopaholic. I don’t care how much it hurts the wallet (well, maybe just a little) but I embrace my addiction. As well, I love to influence others to exercise their own piggy banks. I’ve been told that I have ruined one’s life but at least their closet is exploding with happiness. I buy clothes and if I’m banned I turn to makeup; if I have a ban on makeup, I go after shoes – it’s a beautiful, never ending cycle. The first thing I do in the morning is switch on the ol’ laptop and I check all my emails hoping for an awesome deal (and also die a bit inside since I’m not allowed to buy for the time being). It’s hilarious even when you’ve banned yourself from buying from a certain website (*cough* redtagcrazy *cough*), you insist on watching the sales regardless AND you think it’s an enjoyable form of torture (Yes, I fail). Pretty things catch my eye and it’s hard to pass up an awesome deal. My want list is endless and I constantly have a “need” in my mind. But I am a poor university student fulfilling my addiction with a measly part time job – I’ll have to manage for now...

So, I’ve just made a folder for myself called “blog”, which pushes me to add more things to it. Random pictures, more posts, HOPEFULLY I don’t get lazy. It’ll probably be mostly shopping things but I’ll throw in a nice mix of other things. I should think of a nice title for the blog...

Be patient with me... I'll get used to this yet.
